Etihad Rail Signs Solar Agreement with Masdar JV to Solarise Freight Terminal
Etihad Rail has partnered with Emerge, a joint venture between Masdar and EDF Group, to solarise its Ghuweifat freight terminal. The project will generate 85 percent of the terminal's energy from renewable sources, reducing CO2 emissions by over 8,500 tons, aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 goals.
