JSW Energy has commissioned the second 80 MW unit of its 240 MW Kutehr Hydroelectric Power Plant in Himachal Pradesh, taking the total operationalised capacity to 160 MW. The last 80 MW capacity is expected to be commissioned soon.

JSW Energy Ltd. has successfully acquired KSK Mahanadi Power Company Ltd. for INR 16,084 crore, adding 1,800 MW of operational thermal capacity and surpassing the 10 GW milestone. An additional 1,800 MW is under construction.
