The Confederation of Indian Industry CII and WRI India have launched the “CI-NERGY Alliance – Steering Energy Transitions”, a national industry-led platform to accelerate clean energy adoption in India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) sector. Its initial focus will be on textiles, pharma and data centres.

ACME Cleantech Solutions Wins SECI’s Green Ammonia Auctions to Supply 45,000 TPA

ACME Cleantech Solutions has won Solar Energy Corporation of India’s 10th and 11th Green Ammonia auction, securing a cumulative capacity of 45,000 TPA. While ACME will supply 25,000 TPA at Paradeep Phosphates in Goa at a tariff of INR 62.89/kg, the company will supply 20,000 TPA to Indorama India in Haldia, West Bengal, at a tariff of INR 64.74/kg.

Gentari and GIC Collaborate with Greenko Founders to Produce 5 MTPA Green Ammonia by 2030

Gentari, the clean energy division of Malaysia's Petronas and AM Green, set up by the founders of Greenko announced the signing of definitive agreements together with an affiliate of GIC to produce 5 million tons per annum (MTPA) of green ammonia by 2030 – equivalent to about 1 MTPA of green hydrogen.
