SECI Invites Bids for 125 MW/500 MWh Standalone BESS Projects in Odisha

The Solar Energy Corporation of India has issued a tender to set up six standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects totalling 125 MW/500 MWh in Odisha under a BOO model, with VGF support of INR 18 lakh/MWh. Bid submission ends on January 21, 2026.

SECI Signs MoU with GEDCOL, OHPC, and OREDA for 1,000 MWh BESS and 2.5 GW Solar Projects

Solar Energy Corporation of India has signed an MoU with GEDCOL, OHPC, and OREDA to develop large-scale renewable energy and storage projects, including a 1,000 MWh BESS, pumped storage projects and 2.5 GW of floating solar and solar projects with BESS in Odisha.
