Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Lays Foundation Stone for 55.5 MW/111 MWh BESS Projects
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for key power infrastructure projects, including underground cabling in Chandni Chowk, a 66/11 kV, 63 MVA GIS indoor grid at Mandoli, and four utility-scale BESS, which will add 55.5 MW/111 MWh of capacity across South and West Delhi.

IndiGrid Commissions India’s First Regulated Utility-Scale Standalone BESS in Delhi
IndiGrid has commissioned India’s first regulated utility-scale standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project—Kilokari BESS Pvt. Ltd. (KBPL)—with a capacity of 20 MW/40 MWh in Delhi. The system is designed to integrate renewables, stabilise the grid, manage peak demand, and support ancillary services.
