Amara Raja Commissions INR 500 Crore 60 MWh Battery CQP in Telangana

Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies has commissioned a Customer Qualification Plant in Telangana to manufacture lithium-ion cells for OEM qualification and approval ahead of its planned 2 GWh commercial-scale cell production in CY2027. Built at an investment of INR 500 crore, it forms part of the company's INR 9,500 crore, 16 GWh Gigfactory.

Nextracker Inks Pact with Amara Raja to Supply Trackers for NTPC’s 306 MWp Nokh Solar Project in Rajasthan

Solar tracker specialist Nextracker has signed a master supply agreement (MSA) with battery major Amara Raja Group’s subsidiary, Amara Raja Power Systems, to deliver its intelligent solar trackers for NTPC’s Nokh Solar Project, which is soon to be among India’s largest solar parks.
