Reliance Industries Enters ALMM List-II for Solar Cells, Total Enlisted Capacity Crosses 30 GW
Reliance has entered the ALMM List-II for solar PV cells by adding 1,238 MW of HJT solar cell capacity, while Jupiter International has added 991 MW of Mono PERC capacity from its new plant in Himachal Pradesh. Websol has enhanced its capacity by 600 MW to reach 1,202 MW. Total enlisted capacity in ALMM List-II has increased to 30,056 MW.

ALMM Update: Solar Module Capacity Surpasses 173 GW in March 2026
MNRE has updated the ALMM List-I, adding 11,035 MW of solar module capacity in March 2026, taking the total enlisted capacity to 173,144 MW. Startup Energy (Micromax), Best Apartment, Army Solar Energy, Rajdeep Solar Energy and Sahjanand Solar are the new entrants. Vikram Solar, INA Solar, Solex Energy, Websol, and Swelect have increased capacities.

Solar Module Capacity Under ALMM Crosses 162 GW
MNRE has added 17,268 MW of solar module capacity in ALMM in February 2026, taking the total capacity to 162,109 MW. Space Solar and Sun2Earth Solar are the new entrants. RenewSys India, SAEL, Pahal Solar, Premier Energies, Grew Solar, Emmvee, ReNew Photovoltaics, Sunify Solar, Sunbond Energy, Group Surya and Adani Solar have increased capacities.

MNRE Adds 3,058 MW of Solar Cell Capacity to ALMM List-II, Total Capacity Reaches 26,790 MW
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has expanded its ALMM List-II for solar PV cells by 3,058 MW, taking the total enlisted capacity to 26,790 MW. While Evervolt Solar Technology India has entered the list, Premier Energies, Adani Solar, and First Solar have increased capacities.

MNRE has added 23,119 MW of solar module capacity in ALMM List-I in December 2025, taking the total capacity to 144,841 MW. Waaree Enters ALMM List-II with 5,251 MW Cell Capacity, Total Enlisted Capacity Reaches 23.7 GW
Waaree Energies has entered the ALMM List-II for solar PV cells by adding 1,328 MW of Mono PERC and 3,923 MW of TOPCon cell capacity from its plant in Chikhli, Gujarat. With this, the total enlisted capacity reaches 23,732 MW.
