MNRE has updated the ALMM List-I, adding 12,724 MW of solar module capacity in August 2026, taking the total enlisted capacity to 217,107 MW. SLR Solar, Veda Solar, Senses14 Power Solution and Poola Energy are the new entrants. Adani Solar, Fujiyama Power Systems, Credence Solar Panels, HR Solar Solution and SAEL Industries have increased capacities.

MNRE has updated the ALMM List-I, adding 10,494 MW of solar module capacity in July 2026, taking the total enlisted capacity to 204,383 MW. Havells India, Solarium Green Energy, Aroma Solar, ISH Solar, Powersphere Renewable and NRG SOL Power are the new entrants. Cosmic PV Power and Icon Solar have added capacities from new plants.

MNRE Allows ALMM Listing of Solar Modules up to 3 Percent Higher Wattage Without Factory Inspection
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has allowed solar PV module models with up to 3 percent higher wattage than an already ALMM-listed model to be enlisted without a fresh factory inspection, provided they are manufactured on the same production line and facility.

MNRE Proposes 1 Percent Hike in Solar Module Efficiency Threshold in ALMM from January 1, 2027
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has proposed raising ALMM module efficiency thresholds by one percent from January 1, 2027 and by an additional 0.5 percent from January 1, 2028 to drive adoption of higher-efficiency solar technologies.

Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has updated the ALMM List-I, adding 6,922 MW of solar module capacity in October 2025, taking the total enlisted capacity to 116,467 MW. Gautam Solar, Bluebird Solar, Goldi Solar, and Rayzon Solar have increased capacities while Solitech Green Energy has entered the list with 1,321 MW capacity.
