Government Slashes GST on Renewable Energy Devices from 12 Percent to 5 Percent

The GST Council has reduced the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on renewable energy devices and related parts from 12 percent to 5 percent, effective September 22, 2025, as part of its broader tax rationalisation reforms.
