The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the business dynamics and human way of living, forcing the governments to re- think. This is hurting the economy and the power sector is not an exception. During the lockdown, India witnessed a decrease in power demand which may negatively impact the Indian discoms. The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has proposed leveraging clean energy to revive the Indian economy following the negative business sen- timent from Covid-19. TERI has men- tioned that clean energy projects of Rs 40 lakh crore, over the next 10 years, could create demands and jobs for India.
