hances the protection of sensitive cell interfaces and supports reliable perfor- mance in advanced module architec- tures. Q What are the latest module tech- nologies currently offered by Re- newSys, and which are seeing the stron- gest adoption? Avinash Hiranandani: RenewSys is cur- rently focused on N-type TOPCon tech- nology, representing the next phase of high-efficiency crystalline silicon mod - ules. Compared to conventional PERC, TOPCon offers higher efficiency, im - proved bifaciality, better temperature coefficients, and lower long-term deg - radation, translating into stronger life- time energy yield. We offer modules based on M10R and G12R cell formats, providing flexibility across utility-scale, C&I, and DCR-com- pliant projects. M10R is witnessing strong adoption across mainstream and government-driven projects, while G12R supports higher wattage classes optimised for large-scale installations. At present, TOPCon is seeing the stron- gest market traction and is expected to remain the mainstream technology for the next 4–5 years, driven by perfor- mance advantages and superior lifecycle economics. Q How does RenewSys ensure quali- ty consistency across high-volume module production? Avinash Hiranandani: Quality con- sistency at scale is ensured through a comprehensive, multi-layered control framework. We implement stringent Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Process Quality Control (PQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) protocols to validate raw materials, monitor in-line process- es, and certify finished modules against defined performance standards. Our manufacturing operations are governed by scientific and statistical process controls, including structured sampling, control charts, and real-time trend analysis to proactively detect de- viations using Artificial Intelligence. Data-linked process control systems provide full traceability from raw ma- terial to finished module, ensuring re - peatability and process stability at high volumes. In addition, our in-house, state-of-the-art reliability laboratory conducts extended environmental and accelerated ageing tests to validate long-term durability and degradation behaviour. This integrated approach ensures con- sistent quality, long-term reliability, and strong bankability across high-vol- ume production. Q How is RenewSys preparing for next-generation module formats and higher power classes? Avinash Hiranandani: RenewSys is aligning its roadmap with next-gener- ation module formats through contin- uous cell, design, and material innova- tion. We are scaling N-type TOPCon across multiple cell sizes ranging from M10 to G12R, with module configu - rations spanning 108 to 156 cells. This enables a comprehensive power range from 420 Wp up to 720 Wp, addressing rooftop, C&I, and utility-scale require- ments. In parallel, our latest cell manufactur- ing line has commenced operations at our Hyderabad facility, strengthening our capability to serve the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) market and meet ALMM compliance require- ments. This enhances supply chain control while supporting India’s locali- sation goals. We are also developing module plat- forms compatible with emerging ar- chitectures such as back-contact tech- nologies and perovskite-integrated structures, ensuring readiness for future efficiency advancements. Material innovation remains a paral- lel focus, particularly in advanced en- capsulant systems that enhance spec- tral response through improved light down-conversion and contribute to long-term reliability. This integrated approach positions RenewSys to meet evolving efficiency benchmarks and higher power-class demands. energetica INDIA- Mar-Apr_2026 21 INTERVIEW
