RenewSys India Inaugurates 3 GW Al-Powered Solar Module Manufacturing Facility in Maharashtra RenewSys India has announced that the company has inaugurated its 3 GW AI-powered, fully automated solar module manufacturing facility at Indo- Space Industrial Park, Khopoli, in Ma- harashtra. Spanning over 7 lakh sq. ft., the facili- ty represents a major expansion of Re- newSys’s manufacturing operations and strengthens its contribution to India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosys- tem. With the commissioning of this plant, RenewSys’s total solar module manufacturing capacity will increase to 5.6 GW, the company stated. It further added that, located nearMum- bai with strong multimodal connectivi- ty, the Khopoli facility enhances oper- ational scale, improves supply-chain efficiency, and supports faster access to domestic and international markets. The facility was inaugurated by Saif Dhorajiwala, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Fourth Partner Energy, who attended as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, RenewSys India, said, “The inaugu- ration of our 3 GW Al-powered, fully automated facility at Khopoli marks a major milestone in RenewSys’ expan- sion strategy. As India accelerates its renewable energy transition, technol- ogy-led manufacturing capability be- comes increasingly important.” Anshuman Singh, CEO and Manag- ing Director, IndoSpace, said, “At In- doSpace, we are building the strategic backbone of India’s industrial and lo- gistics transformation. This partnership with RenewSys reflects our long-term commitment to enabling high-impact sectors such as clean energy manufac- turing.” Designed as an AI-powered and fully automated manufacturing unit, the fa- cility incorporates advanced production technologies and digital monitoring sys- tems to ensure high precision, efficiency, and consistent product quality. The facility has been designed to sup- port 3 GW of high-volume solar mod- ule manufacturing capacity. Al-enabled, fully automated production lines will offer advanced quality control with re- al-time digital monitoring. Cosmic PV Power Files DRHP for INR 640 Crore IPO to Expand Solar Module and Cell Manufacturing Gujarat-based solar module manufac- turer Cosmic PV Power has filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise INR 640 crore through an initial public offering (IPO). According to the DRHP, the proposed IPO will comprise a fresh issue of equity shares worth INR 540 crore and an of- fer-for-sale (OFS) of shares worth INR 100 crore by 10 existing shareholders, including promoters and investors. The OFS portion will see shareholders such as Jenishkumar Deepakkumar Ghael, Chanakya Opportunities Fund, RPV Holdings and Shubhalakshmi Polyesters pare part of their stakes. Cosmic PV Power may also raise up to INR 108 crore through a pre-IPO placement before the issue opens. If the company completes the pre-IPO fund- raising, the size of the fresh issue will be reduced accordingly. The IPO proceeds from the fresh issue are expected to sup- port the company’s expansion plans as demand for domestically manufactured solar modules and cells continues to rise under India’s renewable energy push. The filing comes amid a rush of renew - able energy and solar manufacturing companies heading to the capital mar- kets to fund new module, cell and stor- age capacities, with investors betting big on India’s clean energy build-out. energetica INDIA- Mar-Apr_2026 10 ENERGY UPDATES
