The Indian renewable energy industry is re- covering slowly from the adverse impacts of the coronavirus. Amidst continued rate hikes by the US Fed to contain soaring inflation, fears of a global economic slowdown are looming again in the industry as it may result in more Rupee de- preciation. Continued Rupee devaluation could increase the prices of raw materials for domestic solar manufacturers, which could result in high - er module prices along with a slowdown in the economic activity in the industry that is already under pressure. In this edition, we covered Insolation Energy - a Jai- pur-based high-efficiency solar module manu - facturer, which is planning to launch its IPO soon on the BSE SME platform to raise about Rs 22 crore. The company reported revenues of Rs 215.32 crore and a net profit of Rs 6.92 crore for FY22.
