Govt Notifies New Minimum Efficiency Standards for Solar Inverters, Effective January 2026
The Ministry of Power has introduced new minimum efficiency standards for grid-connected solar inverters up to 100 kW, applicable to all units manufactured or imported in India from January 2026 to December 2027. Manufacturers must display an endorsement label based on the overall efficiency matrix on the grid-connected solar inverter.
