After three exhibition days and inspiring conferences and forums, The smarter E Europe 2023 publishes a record success. Touted to be Europe’s largest platform for the energy industry; the event focused on innovations, business models and trends in the renewable energy and electro mobility industries.

Around 2,469 exhibitors from 57 countries showcased their products and solutions across 180,000 square meters in 17 exhibition halls and an outdoor area.

More than 106,000 visitors from 166 countries made their way to Munich to be part of the event this year, and with over 2,000 participants from all over the world.

The conferences were up to a flying start with a high-caliber line-up, followed by companies presenting their innovative products and solutions for the new energy and mobility world to an international expert audience. The focus was on solutions for the smart connection of the electricity, heat and mobility sectors.

Today, a 24/7 renewable energy supply is both technically and financially possible. This fact – along with the current political situation – is why the entire industry is undergoing a major shift and growing dynamically. For the first time in history, in 2022, the total global PV capacity exceeded the one terawatt mark.

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), by 2027, photovoltaics alone will have replaced natural gas and coal as the main source of electricity. With its four individual exhibitions – Intersolar Europe, ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe – The smarter E Europe showed how a 24/7 renewable energy supply can be realised.

On three full exhibition days, the smarter E Europe offered the ideal opportunity to explore the latest trends, technologies and business models while meeting the industry’s visionaries and decision makers.

Here’s a sneak peek into a few of the renowned companies that participated in the event along with the products exhibited at Intersolar Europe:
