Recognising the urgent need for integrated, MW-scale solutions that minimise energy losses and maximise efficiency, Deye has developed a range of cutting-edge technologies, including containerised systems and advanced microgrid solutions.
 
Advanced Microgrid Technology
At the core of Deye’s offering is its microgrid system, built around LiFePO₄ (LFP) lithium battery technology. This system incorporates a smart Battery Management System (BMS) that ensures comprehensive protection, real-time balancing, and operational safety. The integration of an aerosol-based fire suppression system provides an added layer of security, making it non-explosive, non-flammable, and ideal for continuous and unattended operations.
 
Equipped with a dedicated Energy Management System (EMS) and designed with redundant power supply pathways, the system also supports black start functionality, ensuring energy availability even in grid-down scenarios. Deye’s current system configuration is rated at 100 kW/215 kWh, paired with a 200 kWp PV input, and delivers an impressive round-trip efficiency of 88 percent. Its dual compatibility with AC and DC coupling enhances its flexibility across a wide range of applications.
 
Resilience and Intelligent Control
Designed for all-weather performance, Deye’s microgrid solution features intelligent thermal management, ensuring stability in extreme hot or cold climates. Advanced protection features — including peak-valley management, anti-backflow, overload prevention, and phase separation — allow for seamless operation even in challenging grid environments. Additionally, functions such as demand control, backup power, and load tracking make it a robust solution for dynamic energy requirements.
 
Scalable Energy Storage for Utility Applications
Deye’s modular approach allows for system scalability, supporting configurations up to 2 MW with 4.3 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The inbuilt intelligent BMS continuously monitors and optimises the performance of the LFP batteries, while the remote monitoring capabilities enable real-time system control and diagnostics. The solution also features triple auxiliary power backup, further enhancing its reliability.
