As businesses accelerate their transition toward cleaner, more resilient, and energy-efficient operations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) have become an essential component of modern power infrastructure. Designed to address today's Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy requirements, the Deye GE-F256 is a 257kWh integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) that combines advanced Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery technology, intelligent energy management, and comprehensive safety protection within a compact, factory-integrated cabinet.
The GE-F256 is designed to operate with 60kW to 125kW Deye hybrid inverters and 100kW/125 kW PCS, MPPT and STS solutions, offering flexibility to configure systems according to varying project requirements. The GE-F256 is suitable for a broad range of C&I applications, including manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, industrial parks, renewable energy projects, and EV charging infrastructure.
Designed as a true all-in-one solution, the GE-F256 integrates the battery system, Battery Management System (BMS), thermal management, and fire protection into a single enclosure. This highly integrated architecture simplifies system installation, reduces commissioning time, minimises on-site engineering, and enables faster project deployment while ensuring reliable long-term operation.
At the core of the system is Deye's self-developed 3S Intelligent Control Platform, which seamlessly integrates the BMS, PCS, and EMS to provide intelligent system control and real-time monitoring. The GE-F256 supports both grid-connected and off-grid operation, while its flexible expansion capability allows up to 10 battery cabinets in DC-side parallel connection for capacity expansion and up to 10 inverter units in AC-side parallel operation for power expansion.
Safety is one of the defining strengths of the GE-F256. The system incorporates Deye's Six-Dimensional Safety Design, integrating electrical isolation, fire detection, active exhaust, explosion venting, fire suppression, and thermal isolation to provide multiple layers of protection. Combined with a high-strength cabinet structure, patented door latch design, and hour-level fire resistance, the GE-F256 is engineered to deliver dependable performance under demanding operating conditions.
Built using high-performance LiFePO₄ battery technology, the GE-F256 delivers more than 8,000 charge-discharge cycles, supports up to 160 percent photovoltaic (PV) capacity, maintains no power derating at ambient temperatures up to 45°C, and ensures a cell temperature difference of ≤6°C through optimised thermal management. These features contribute to improved battery longevity, operational stability, and consistent system performance throughout its service life.
The GE-F256 is further enhanced by Deye Cloud, an all-in-one energy and device management platform that enables real-time equipment monitoring, intelligent charging and discharging strategies, dynamic tariff support, AI-powered energy analysis through Deye Copilot, and 24/7 AI Assistant support. Accessible via both web and mobile applications, Deye Cloud also provides multilingual support and flexible system control, helping users optimise energy management and improve operational efficiency.
By combining a 256kWh battery platform, flexible inverter compatibility, intelligent 3S control, advanced safety architecture, scalable expansion, and cloud-based energy management, the Deye GE-F256 delivers a future-ready energy storage solution for modern commercial and industrial applications. Its integrated design, operational flexibility, and reliable performance make it an ideal choice for organisations seeking to build efficient, resilient, and sustainable energy infrastructure.
