Revolutionising Solar Maintenance: Intelligent Robotic Cleaning

Building on this foundation, Arctech is now addressing two major needs of the Indian market – cleaning and storage.

Our robotic cleaning solution, designed in-house and fully integrated with Arctech trackers, cleans modules efficiently while minimising downtime. Its smart shutdown platform aligns perfectly with the tracker’s spindle, cutting platform costs by nearly 40 percent.

Made from lightweight, high-strength materials, it’s 30 percent lighter yet built to last over 20,000 cleaning cycles. With a patented differential drive, AI walking correction, and anti-fall safety, it moves smoothly and precisely even in tough conditions.

Capable of handling winds up to 50 m/s, climbing slopes, and crossing obstacles, it’s tailor-made for India’s dust-heavy regions like Rajasthan and Gujarat, where clean panels can mean up to 8 percent higher generation every month.

Arctech recently secured a landmark 500 MW robotic cleaning order from SAEL, marking one of the largest deployments of such technology in India.

The robotic cleaning system demonstrates our capability to design technologies perfectly suited to India’s site conditions while enhancing long-term plant performance.

Adding Energy Storage to the Mix

We are also stepping into BESS to complement our solar expertise. Arctech’s ARCBank 1.0 BESS brings next-generation stability and flexibility to renewable projects. Designed for all application scenarios, it features a modular architecture for easy expansion and fast deployment, offering a one-stop energy storage solution.
