On Tuesday 25 September the world’s leading expo for wind energy opens its doors. More than 1,400 exhibitors from 40 countries will present their innovations and services for the onshore and offshore wind industry at the Hamburg Messe fair site until 28 September. In nine exhibition halls, all international industry leaders and specialised suppliers to the entire value chain will be present. Both of these top-ranking events jointly form the Global Wind Summit, the biggest and most important gathering of the wind industry worldwide. Numerous high-profile guests are expected to attend the Global Wind Summit, including energy ministers from various countries as well as the EU Commissioner for Climate Action & Energy, Miguel Arias Cañete.

For four days, the Hamburg trade fair complex will be the meeting place of energy experts from around the world. The event organisers are expecting about 35,000 visitors from 100 countries. WindEnergy Hamburg is the only global industry expo for both, the onshore and the offshore segments of the wind industry. The featured topics of the 2018 expo are Dynamic Markets, Cost Efficiency, and Smart Energy.
