Recently, MGM string power station ushered in the operational time. As everyone expected all the performance was good and the operation was efficient and reliable up to now. It is estimated to supply 430,000 KWH power for MGM hospital per year.
MGM power station founded with the investment of Renew Power India, which committed to leading a change in India’s current energy portfolio by delivering cleaner and smarter energy choices and thereby reducing India’s carbon footprint, Renew Power’s mission is to play a pivotal role in meeting India’s growing energy needs in an efficient, sustainable and socially responsible manner.
No doubt the biggest beneficiary of MGM power plant is MGM hospital in Mumbai. The total capacity of MGM power station is 355KW adopting 50k inverters from Ginlong Solis. Director of MGM hospital reveals to us: We were recommended by Renew Power about Solis Inverters. The best feature of Solis inverters is the multiple MPPT technology which overcomes constraints of space availability, shadow effect, and generation optimization. And Renew Power assures us that Solis inverter is reliable and efficient and running well for a long time.
When asked him the reason of building a power station in MGM hospital, the director of MGM hospital was blunt: As MGM is a multi-specialty hospital, there is a huge consumption of power round the clock particularly for HVAC system and various diagnosing equipments. Rising cost of the commercial electricity rates was another reason for opting for solar plant. Subsidy from the Central Government assistance program came as an icing on the cake. This made the plant more viable and they are expecting to have a payback in 5-6 years with decent ROI.
According to information, MGM hospital is a part of Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust which has sustainability and affordability as one of the core values. Going solar is one of the ways to adhere to the laid foundation. Moreover fossil fuel is one of the leading causes of global warming, by installing solar we can reduce our carbon footprint. It also has a positive impact towards our corporate social responsibility by opting for cleaner fuel, pollution-free technology and overall a visible tangible asset for environmental protection endorsed by stakeholders
Indeed, after subsidies for the PV market released by India's central government, Companies are increasingly investing in photovoltaic power stations in India. Ginlong Solis, one of these companies in particular. All projects of Ginlong Solis are commissioned in line with the highest quality standards and engineering capabilities. Ginlong Solis is proud to be a responsible organization that is committed to supporting the communities in which we live and work. We are at a turning point where the transformational use of natural resources of energy will define our future.
