Pioneering effort from InSolare Energy Pvt.Ltd

The plant has been designed to use thin film technology and an advanced tracker design, which has resulted in it achieving the highed possible productivity in the country The plant is expected to achieve upto 25% higher productivity than standard crystalline modules with fixed tilt mounting. This plant will be one of the largest thin film plants with tracking in Asia. “We are very proud that we commissioned this 5 MWp project in a record time of 160 days utilizing our technology and project management expertise in design, engineering and construction” declares Dr. Sunit Tyagi, CEO of InSolare.

The plant can withstand Earthquakes and wind speeds of up to 150 km/h and it has redundancy built into the system, with multiple transformers and switchgears that ensure that there is no single point of failure in power generation or transmission.

“Apart from the technical challenges which as a technology driven company we were prepared for, we were also able to cope with some unforeseen delays due to the unusually heavy rains and some supply issues from our vendor” states Dr. Hemanshu Bhatt, CTO of InSolare.
