MYSUN's #CaptureMySun Campaign reaches more than 1,00,000 people in 7 days

With the non-renewable energy ship gradually growing older and more expensive to keep afloat, the prominent world associations are already having serious dialogues on environment-friendly alternatives. It is therefore an appropriate time to spread awareness about the green alternatives in the energy space. Promoting this change, MYSUN, an online solar marketplace, took the responsibility of spreading awareness of going solar on their shoulders with their recent initiative #CaptureMySun. While the solar industry has been able to capture the sun and make most of its prowess, #CaptureMySun challenges the photographer within you to shoot the sun in the most gorgeous manner.

Within the first week of its launch, this nationwide awareness drive has reached more than 1lakh people and envisions to touch more than 5million people across India. The campaign received a zestful response from its inaugural leg in Mumbai with almost 200+ photographers joining on ground for a photo walk while the online participation has been increasing each hour. Eminent solar industry personalities as well as members from the media such as Mr Ravi Khanna, the CEO Aditya Birla PV Business, Nimish Sawant, Editor Firstpost and Tech2, Utpal Bhaskar, the Managing Editor- Infracircle (Newscorp VCCircle) as well as Mr Anil Mascarenhas, Editor at India Infoline Ltd (Vice-President, Content) form the jury, that will judge the entries coming in.

MYSUN will be covering almost 20 cities in the next 6 month by associating with individuals, RWAs, schools with esteemed organisations and expect to touch a few lakh people in every city.
