Mumbai all set to get dazzled as LED Expo returns with new innovations from over 200 companies.

Led Expo, India's renowned fair for the LED lighting, components and technologies will return for its 16th edition from 11 – 13 May at the Bombay Exhibition Centre trade grounds in Mumbai. The organiser, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, has confirmed that over 200 companies will be showcasing the latest price competitive LED solutions for the Indian market. Besides India, exhibitors from from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea will also be showcasing products at this three-day fair, which marks a 39% increase in international participation and indicates the growing interest of Asian manufacturers in the Indian market.

This year Led Expo will largely focus on solar power products, which in todays world of high inflation is the need of the hour.Other latest Innovations like the wireless connected street lighting solution is prime example of how LED-based solutions are shaping the future of lighting. Companies like S.M.Solar Products Ltd, Devidayal Solar Solutions Pvt Ltd, Enwalk- Arham Electronics & Electricals, Fujian Joy Solar Technology Corporation among others will be introducing product innovations for the Indian market in this segment that can be adopted for both urban and rural development programmes. Haryana based EcoEarth Electric will be showcasing 'HEXA', the high lumen LED batten in Hexagonal shape. This is a perfect compilation of design and technology and is very useful for small places as well as commercial and industrial installation.

This year, several companies like Era Electro Devices with their Tunable LED Lights, "EcoEarth Lighting will introduce its high lumen LED batten in Hexagonal shape named 'HEXA'. EcoEarth is also planning to launch a three step dimming option in HEXA where the user can select the brightness level as well as save electricity for only the wattage being used." and also on display there will be LED Table Lamps, Indoor LED Lighting, Emergency Solar Lights, Motion Sensor Lights, smart lights which have smart lighting, and also has efficiency increasing features, too, such as scheduling and automation, which can be controlled using a smartphone, and many more.

Among the many interesting highlights of the show , The 'Agate Wireless Connected Street Lighting Solution' for smart cities is to be launched at Mumbai edition by ANA Global Resources Pvt Ltd. Agate" SMART Street Light is an Internet of things (IoT) solution based on leading edge wireless technologies.  This Smart Street Light optimizes and monitors electricity savings, Centralized monitor and control individual Cost effective with reduce O&M cost Plug-n-play wireless hassle free solution, Ease of integration etc.The wave of innovation and growth in LED sector has been breaking price barriers and keeping pace with this momentum, LED Expo continues to bring innovations in LED technology, design and production to the forefront.

 Raj Manek, MD, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding Ltd said "LED Expo is committed to supporting the next phase of LED implementation. Shri Ashok Atram, Joint Secretary, Industries, Energy & Labour Department, Govt. of Maharashtra says "Development of LED Products and Technology is the need and answer to our country's requirement of efficient energy, environment friendly and power saving ideas to compensate the ever increasing demand for Power. Maharashtra Government is agrresively focusing on increasing usages of energy efficient LED lighting replacing conventional bulbs and tubes in offices, houses, commercial establishments from the conventional incandescent lamps."

Supporting the next phase of LED implementation in India, various ministries and government bodies including Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, as well as Maharashtra Energy Development Agency, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking, Electronic Industries Association of India, Solar Energy Society of India, Indian Building Congress and the apex body of the Lighting manufacturers - ELCOMA (Electric Lamp & Component Manufacturers Association) have announced strong support to this platform which promotes energy saving lighting and LED technologies for the country.
