Martifer Solar, SA, a Portuguese Company rated amongst the biggest PV EPC Contractors in the world and Inspira Projects Ltd, an Indian Company specialized in Infrastructure, have set up a joint venture for the Indian market.
In this partnership, Martifer provides its know-how in the photovoltaic sector, with its international experience and extensive track record of over 250 MW installed worldwide and Inspira Projects Ltd offers its in-depth knowledge of the local market.
Inspira Martifer Solar aspires to provide international standard EPC to Solar PV Power Project developers in India. Besides, it also seeks to offer operation & maintenance of the existing PV power plants through its local presence and experts monitoring the plant through central monitoring system located in Portugal.
“Our main commitment is to set up a solid company in India, with an excellent reputation amongst its customers, giving them access to the world’s highest standards and good practices in terms of construction of photovoltaic projects,” said Paulo Soares, CFO of Inspira Martifer Solar.
The main sources of energy in India are oil, natural gas and coal, and thus opting for clean energy such as photovoltaic solar power encourages environmental sustainability in a country that is experiencing rapid economic development.
