Our vision is aligned to the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and target of 250 GW renewable energy by 2030. Our new blade manufacturing facility is a testament of our commitment to make India the renewable energy technology hub of the world. India has the potential and capability to lead the global transition to renewable energy sources and Suzlon is committed to harness this potential.
Technological innovation is at the core of Suzlon group’s philosophy. Our new product development efforts are focused on providing affordable and sustainable energy for all. We are reducing the cost of energy and making an increasing number of wind sites viable.
The Madhya Pradesh Government has established growth-friendly initiatives such as Make in Madhya Pradesh, establishment of single-window clearance system and increasing energy generation capacity. This is a big boost to renewable energy in the State and I am confident that Madhya Pradesh will be pivotal to achieving energy security and creating a low-carbon economy. The State has also established much-needed policies for social development. Our decision to providing training and employment to 20 women engineers from MP is in line with the Beti Bachao Abhiyan of the Madhya Pradesh Government. We hope that this move will further their efforts in empowering women.”
