Enoro signs landmark deal with Fortum

Enoro has signed a contract to deliver Enoro CIS (Customer Information System) SaaS service in Finland and Norway for Fortum, the leading energy retailer in the Nordics.

Enoro CIS will handle the combined customer service and billing for over 700,000 energy customers in Finland and Norway. Fortum selected Enoro after an extensive review process. The transformation project will start in August 2016 and the CIS system will be ready for use in 2018.

“Enoro’s powerful Customer Information System (CIS) will help us further put the customer in the center. It will automate and digitize our services, while reducing our operating expenses and increasing the quality of our services. Enoro was the most compelling partner because they are agile and innovative with a clear roadmap for the future. We are confident that their CIS is a service for the future, which enables us to give our customers the best service through the ongoing industry transformation,” says Jukka Toivonen, Head of Business Development, in Fortum.

“This is a landmark deal for Enoro. The energy market is rapidly changing and Enoro CIS will enable Fortum to serve their customers cost-efficiently with one single service,” says Anders H. Lier, President and CEO, Enoro. “Fortum wants to offer their customers the best experience, and with Enoro CIS they will bring the business closer to the customer while creating a personalized energy experience.”
