CleanMax Solar wins Renewable Energy India Awards 2018 under the Leading RE RESCO category

Renewable Energy India Awards 2018 has announced CleanMax Solar as the winner for their “Leading RE RESCO” category. The award was received by Umakant Shende, COO, CleanMax Solar, during the awards ceremony held at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, New Delhi, India. 

This is the fourth edition of Renewable Energy India Awards 2018, organised by UBM India. CleanMax Solar also had won Renewable Energy India 2017 awards in the category of “Leading Solar EPC – Rooftop Developer”.

On winning this award, Mr. Umakant Shende, Chief Operating Officer, CleanMax Solar said,We are proud that CleanMax Solar has been recognized for our contribution to helping large and renowned corporates to achieve their sustainability goals. This award is also recognition of our vision to be ‘sustainability partner of choice for corporates’. We have already solar powered more than 100 corporates, and we aim to expand our offerings to many more corporates in the coming years to help them reduce their operating costs and move towards a greener future. We at CleanMax Solar will continue to strive for excellence and it is an honour to receive this prestigious award as recognition of that excellence.”

CleanMax Solar has installed more than 300 projects for over 100 corporates in India, with a combined on-site solar capacity of 120 MW and commissioned around 330 MW of grid-connected solar farms for its corporate consumers. In 2017, CleanMax Solar received a USD 100 million equity funding from Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm, and International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The investment from IFC is the first equity investment globally by the World Bank Group in the distributed generation sector.
