INDIA NEWS Delta Wins Rooftop Solar Inverter Company Award The title was awarded to Delta recognizing its outstanding contribution towards the development of Indian rooftop solar industry. Delta was chosen the best company under the category - Rooftop Solar Project Technology for Solar JupiterInverters amongst three other nominations. The award was presented on 21st January at the Indian Rooftop Solar Summit 2016 held at The Surya, New Delhi, India. ® Model JM4: Next- Generation Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter Magnetrol® International has announced the release of the Jupiter® Model JM4 magnetostrictive level transmitter. The JM4 is available as a direct insertion option, as well as an external mount on any MAGNETROL magnetic level indicator (MLI) or modular instrumentation bridle. With an improved design, unparalleled performance, and a collection of new and innovative features, the JM4 provides safer, simpler, and smarter measurement in total and interface level applications. Leading Edge Hardware and Software The JM4 is engineered to be the smartest, most innovative magnetostrictive transmitter available. To this end, numerous enhancements have been introduced, including greater signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), a full graphic local user interface, HART 7.0 (Foundation fieldbus available), local waveform capture, and a more intuitive device type manager (DTM) allowing for remote configuration, trending, and diagnostics Field Rotatable and Removable Transmitter Head The JM4 is the first magnetostrictive transmitter in the industry to offer a field-removable and rotatable head. The removable head allows for simpler transmitter maintenance and troubleshooting without disrupting the process. 310° of head rotation provides users with greater accessibility to operate the JM4’s on-board graphical interface. Smart Probe To further enhance the removable head, the JUPITER Model JM4 also features Smart Probe technology. When any JM4 transmitter head is attached to a probe, a single push of a button imports factory configuration settings into the head, and in seconds, the transmitter is ready for operation. Remote Mount Option JUPITER now offers a remote mount option. Available in 3 and 12 ft lengths, the transmitter head is attached to the probe via a flexible cable to allow for easier viewing under various spatial constraints. “We are honoured to win the award which marks the beginning of 2016 on a positive note for us, furthermore, we are delighted that we have been able to make a significant contribution towards strengthening the nations solar infrastructure,” said Shashidhara.BV, Director Technical – Solar Inverters. Waaree Energies announces the launch of its first Plug and Play solar Park ‘Sunbless’ Maharashtra is now all set with its first Plug and Play solar park after the launch of ‘Sunbless’ by Waaree Energies. Aiding the government with its solar power initiatives along with various businesses with their power needs, this is the first solarpark in the state that will facilitate installation of Solar Projects within the park of size 1MW and above. It is a 100% ready to move in solar park with a maximum capacity of 40MW.A 1.5 MW project has been recently commissioned in the park by Waaree for leading pharmaceutical company. Sprawling over more than 150 acres of land, the area receives a GHI of 1881.8 kWh/m2. This park provides land and evacuation facility to the nearest 132/33 kV GSS via double circuit transmission line. Elaborating on the concept, Mr Hitesh Doshi Chairman and Managing Director, Waaree Energies said, “The solar park is a perfect answer for all those wishing to establish solar PV Projects such as IPP’s, Captive consumers etc. Setting up a Solar PV project is time consuming and securing suitable land with evacuation facilities is a challenge. Our Sunbless Solar Park is aimed at eliminating such risks for our clients and significantly reducing the lead time from concept to commissioning. It also provides great economies of scale resulting in reduced total cost of ownership”. It offers facilities such as approach road, fencing, water supply, common infrastructure support and resources. The park is set in an area with excellent road and railway connectivity. Located at Marutizapur, near Akola, the closest railway station is 12 Kms on CR and the Nagpur airport is close at a distance of 250 Km. The site also easily accessible from the highway, being only 2Km away from NH6. The ‘Sunbless’ solar park is all set to transform solar power sector of Maharashtra, with the park’s transmission line and bay ready for evacuation. 10 energetica INDIA · MAR | APR16
