The objective of the MOU is to establish basis for a cooperative institutional relationship to encourage and promote technical bilateral cooperation of new and renewable energy issues on basis of mutual benefit, equality and reciprocity. The areas of cooperation will focus on development of new and renewable energy technologies in: 1. Solar 2. Wind Energy 3. Biomass 4. Tidal and waves energy 5. Other mutually agreed areas Under the agreement, the two countries will: 1. Exchange and train scientific and technical personnel 2. Exchange of scientific and technological available information and data 3. Organize workshops and seminars 4. Development of joint research or technical projects MOU with the Government of Mongolia The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy MNRE of India has signed a MOU with the Ministry of Energy of the Government of Mongolia to establish cooperative institutional relationship to encourage and promote bilateral technical cooperation on new and renewable energy between the two countries. Determine renewable energy resources, enhance the database and develop institutional capacities of new technology, research and analysis of organizations of Mongolia 2. Development of joint research or technical projects MOU with Government of United States of America The Indian government has signed a MOU with the Government of United States of America to cooperate and establish PaceSetter Fund; a fund to support Promoting Energy Access Through Clean Energy (PEACE) track of US-India Partnership to Advance Clean Energy (PACE). The mission of the PACEsetter Fund is to accelerate the commercialization of innovative off-grid clean energy solutions by providing early-stage grant funding that would allow business to develop and test innovative products, systems and business models.
